William Branham

William Branham, born in 1909 in Kentucky, was a prominent figure in the Christian evangelical movement. He gained popularity during the 1940s and 1950s as a faith healer and preacher. Known for his charismatic style and belief in supernatural gifts, Branham claimed to have received divine visions and the ability to heal the sick. In 1946, he famously proclaimed to be the fulfillment of Malachi 4:5-6, which stated the return of Elijah before the second coming of Christ. This claim drew a large following, and Branham's revival meetings were attended by thousands. Despite skepticism and controversy surrounding his prophecies and theological teachings, William Branham still resonates among some believers today as an influential figure in the Voice of Healing movement.
