Soda Stereo
Soda Stereo was an iconic Argentine rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1982. Comprised of Gustavo Cerati (lead vocalist and guitarist), Zeta Bosio (bassist), and Charly Alberti (drummer), they became one of Latin America's most influential rock groups of all time. With their unique fusion of pop, new wave, and alternative rock, Soda Stereo achieved massive success throughout the 1980s and 1990s, not only in Argentina but also across Spanish-speaking countries. Their groundbreaking albums like "Signos", "Dynamo", and "Canción Animal" solidified their place in music history. Their concerts were known for their striking visuals and captivating stage presence, making them trailblazers in the Latin rock scene. However, in 1997, after a successful farewell tour, the band decided to split, but not without leaving an indelible mark on Latin American music and continuing to influence generations of musicians.
