Led Zeppelin was formed in London in 1968, comprising vocalist Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham. Known for their hard rock sound, the band became one of the most influential rock groups in history. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1969, showcased their blues-inspired heavy sound and established their signature style. Led Zeppelin achieved immense success with subsequent albums like "Led Zeppelin II," "III," and "IV," which included iconic tracks such as "Whole Lotta Love," "Stairway to Heaven," and "Black Dog." They also gained a reputation for their energetic and dynamic live performances. Despite their popularity, Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 following Bonham's untimely death. However, their music continues to resonate with generations of fans, solidifying their status as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
