Tokio Hotel
Tokio Hotel is a German rock band that was formed in Magdeburg, Germany, in 2001. Comprised of identical twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, along with Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer, the band gained international recognition with their debut album, "Schrei," released in 2005. The album, which showcased their unique blend of alternative rock and pop punk sound, achieved significant success in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Tokio Hotel's popularity expanded globally with subsequent albums, including "Zimmer 483" in 2007 and "Humanoid" in 2009. They received numerous awards and achieved notable milestones, such as being the first German band to win an MTV Video Music Award. The band has also explored diverse musical styles and released music in both German and English. Despite a temporary hiatus in 2010, Tokio Hotel returned with a new album, "Kings of Suburbia," in 2014. Their dedicated fanbase, known as "Aliens," has shown unwavering support throughout their career, demonstrating the band's lasting impact on the music industry.
