The Walters
The Walters were an indie rock band formed in Chicago in 2014. The lineup consisted of Luke Olson on vocals and guitar, Walter Kosner on bass, Danny Wells on guitar, and Charlie Ekhaus on drums. They gained recognition for their catchy and nostalgic sound, drawing influences from 60s pop and doo-wop. With insightful and heartfelt lyrics, The Walters captivated audiences with their 2015 debut EP, "Songs for Dads." Their breakout single, "I Love You So," received widespread acclaim and gained over 5 million streams on Spotify. Despite their growing popularity, the band disbanded in 2017, leaving fans with only a handful of releases. Though their time together was short-lived, The Walters left a lasting impact on the indie rock scene, and their music continues to be cherished by their devoted fan base.
