The Rare Occasions is an American indie rock band formed in 2012 and based in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of members Brian McLaughlin, Peter Stone, Luke Imbusch, and Jeremy Cohen. Drawing influences from various genres, including alternative rock and post-punk, their sound is characterized by energetic performances, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics. The Rare Occasions gained recognition with their self-titled EP in 2013, followed by their debut full-length album, "Feelers," in 2017.
