The Peggies
The Peggies are a Japanese rock band formed in 2011, consisting of three members: Yuuho Kitazawa on vocals and guitar, Miku Onuki on bass, and Risa Oribe on drums. Known for their catchy and energetic sound, The Peggies gained attention with their debut single "Dream Navigators" in 2013, which was used as the ending theme song for the anime series "Sword Art Online II." Since then, they have released several successful singles and albums, with their music often featured in popular anime shows and commercials in Japan. The band's popularity further skyrocketed when their song "Centimeter" became the opening theme for the critically acclaimed anime series "Rent-A-Girlfriend" in 2020. With their melodic tunes and relatable lyrics, The Peggies continue to captivate audiences both within and beyond the anime fandom, solidifying their presence in the vibrant Japanese music industry.
