The Cats were a Dutch rock band that gained immense popularity in the 1960s and 1970s. The Cats achieved significant success with their melodic pop sound, recording numerous hits in the Netherlands and even topping the charts in countries like Germany, Belgium, and South Africa. Notably, their song "One Way Wind" reached number one in Indonesia, a country where they had substantial fan-following. The band disbanded in 1985, leaving behind a rich musical legacy and a long-lasting impact on the Dutch music scene.
