Switchfoot
Switchfoot is an American alternative rock band that was formed in 1996 in San Diego, California. They gained mainstream success with their breakthrough album "The Beautiful Letdown" in 2003, which featured the hit singles "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move." The band, consisting of lead vocalist Jon Foreman, bassist Tim Foreman, drummer Chad Butler, and guitarist Drew Shirley, is known for their energetic live performances and thought-provoking lyrics. Interestingly, Switchfoot was initially called Chin Up, but they changed their name after realizing it was already taken.
