Supergrass
Supergrass was a British alternative rock band formed in 1993 and consisted of Gaz Coombes (lead vocals/guitar), Mick Quinn (bass), Danny Goffey (drums), and Rob Coombes (keyboards). Their breakthrough came in 1995 with the release of their debut album "I Should Coco," which went on to become the biggest-selling debut album for Parlophone Records since the Beatles' "Please Please Me." Known for their energetic and melodic sound, Supergrass released several hit singles including "Alright," "Caught by the Fuzz," and "Pumping on Your Stereo." Throughout their career, they released six studio albums, earning critical acclaim and amassing a loyal fan base. In 2010, the band announced their split, with individual members pursuing various solo and collaborative projects. Despite no immediate plans for a reunion, Supergrass remains cherished for their infectious music, high-energy performances, and influential contributions to the British music scene.
