Story of the year

Story of the Year is an American rock band formed in 2000 in St. Louis, Missouri. They gained popularity in the early 2000s as part of the post-hardcore and emo genres. The band consists of lead vocalist Dan Marsala, guitarists Ryan Phillips and Philip Sneed, bassist Adam Russell, and drummer Josh Wills. They released their debut album, "Page Avenue," in 2003, which featured their hit single "Until the Day I Die." The album was highly successful, receiving critical acclaim and reaching gold-certified status. Story of the Year continued to release albums, including "In the Wake of Determination" (2005), "The Black Swan" (2008), and "Wolves" (2017). Over the years, they have toured extensively, both as headliners and alongside notable bands such as Linkin Park and Taking Back Sunday. With their energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics, Story of the Year has gathered a dedicated fan base and remains an influential presence in the alternative rock scene.
