Pholhas
Pholhas is a Brazilian rock band formed in 1969 that gained international recognition in the 1970s. The band was originally named "Os Pholhas" and later changed to just "Pholhas". Their music was influenced by the British rock scene of the time, combining elements of pop, rock, and ballads. Pholhas released several successful albums and achieved chart-topping hits, including their rendition of The Beatles' "She Made Me Cry" and their original song "My Mistake." Despite facing lineup changes over the years, Pholhas continued to perform and tour, both in Brazil and internationally. The band's popularity waned in the 1980s, but they maintained a loyal fan base. Today, Pholhas is still celebrated for their memorable melodies and nostalgic sound, making them an important part of Brazilian rock history.
