Omori
Omori is an indie rock band formed by American musician Mario Padron in 2013. The band takes its name from the district of Omori in Tokyo, Japan. The music of Omori is best described as a blend of alternative and indie rock with psychedelic elements. Mario Padron, formerly a member of the band Smith Westerns, started Omori as a solo project after the dissolution of Smith Westerns in 2014. In 2015, Omori released their debut solo album titled "Foxygen and Star Power." The album garnered positive reviews and showcased Padron's songwriting skills and his ability to incorporate diverse musical influences into his work. Over the years, Omori has continued to create music that exhibits a unique blend of introspective lyrics, dreamy melodies, and experimental sounds.
