Kavinsky

Kavinsky, born Vincent Belorgey on July 31, 1975, is a French musician renowned for his work in the genre of Synthwave. He gained widespread recognition with his 2010 single "Nightcall," which was prominently featured in the 2011 film "Drive," directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Kavinsky's music is heavily influenced by 1980s soundtracks, and his persona is that of a character who died in a car crash in 1986, only to come back as a zombie to make music. His debut album, "OutRun," named after the classic Sega driving game, was released in 2013 and has been praised for its retro-futuristic sound. Besides his musical career, Kavinsky has also appeared in films, including roles in the movies of his longtime collaborator Quentin Dupieux (Mr. Oizo).
