Journey
Journey is an American rock band formed in 1973 in San Francisco. The band's initial lineup consisted of former members from Santana, including lead guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Gregg Rolie, along with vocalist Steve Perry, bassist Ross Valory, and drummer Aynsley Dunbar. Journey achieved significant success in the late 1970s and 1980s, becoming one of the most popular American rock bands of that era. Known for their unique blend of melodic rock, progressive rock, and arena rock, Journey produced numerous hit songs like "Don't Stop Believin'", "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)", and "Open Arms". Steve Perry's soaring vocals and the band's anthemic sound struck a chord with audiences worldwide. Journey's success waned in the late 1980s and early 1990s, leading to lineup changes and a brief hiatus. However, they underwent a resurgence in the late 1990s with new lead vocalist Steve Augeri, recording albums like "Trial by Fire" and "Arrival". Journey continues to tour and record music, maintaining a loyal fan base around the globe.
