Desireless

Desireless, born as Claudie Fritsch-Mentrop on December 25, 1952, is a French singer who gained international recognition in the late 1980s. Her most famous hit is the iconic song "Voyage, voyage" released in 1986, which topped the music charts in numerous countries. Desireless started her career as a dancer before transitioning to singing. She became a part of a French band called Air 89, where she met her partner and songwriting collaborator, Jean-Michel Rivat. Desireless released her debut solo album, "François" in 1988, featuring the aforementioned popular single. Despite her success, Desireless continued to release albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, exploring various musical genres such as world music and electronica. She also contributed to soundtracks and dabbled in acting. Desireless has remained active in the music industry, performing live shows and releasing new material, continuing to delight fans with her unique and resonating voice.
