Deadman Wonderland

Deadman Wonderland is a Japanese manga series that was written by Jinsei Kataoka and illustrated by Kazuma Kondou. It was first serialized in 2008 and later adapted into a 12-episode anime series in 2011. Set in a dystopian future, the story revolves around Ganta Igarashi, a student who becomes the sole survivor of a mysterious and brutal massacre. Wrongly accused of the crime, he is sentenced to a privately-owned prison called Deadman Wonderland. The prison, located in an amusement park, allows visitors to witness deadly spectacles performed by inmates with supernatural abilities known as Deadmen. These individuals can control their own blood as a weapon. Ganta soon discovers that he also possesses this power and gets involved in a dangerous underground conspiracy within the prison. Despite gaining popularity, both the manga and anime adaptations of Deadman Wonderland were cut short, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a continuation of the story.
