Adam Schlesinger

Adam Schlesinger was an American musician and songwriter, best known for his work with the bands Fountains of Wayne and Ivy. Throughout his career, Schlesinger achieved great success, including receiving three Grammy nominations and winning an Emmy Award for his songwriting on the TV show "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." He wrote the infectious hit "Stacy's Mom," which became Fountains of Wayne's biggest hit, reaching the top 20 on the charts. Additionally, Schlesinger was also involved in writing music for films, such as "That Thing You Do!" and Broadway productions like "Cry-Baby." Sadly, he passed away in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19, leaving behind a rich musical legacy and touching the lives of many through his talent and creativity.
