"Apache" by The Shadows was originally recorded in the key of E minor and released in 1960. This instrumental track became a hit for the British rock band, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart for five weeks. The song was composed by Jerry Lordan, an English composer, and was inspired by the 1954 Western film of the same name. Interestingly, Lordan is said to have written the song in just 20 minutes.
