"Kibou no Uta" is a song from the anime series Shokugeki no Souma, also known as Food Wars!. It is performed in the original key of D major. The music was composed by Yuki Hayashi and the lyrics were written by Tony Kakko. The song was sung by the Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica, featuring their lead vocalist Kakko. Interestingly, Tony Kakko wrote the lyrics in Japanese, despite the band being known for their English-language songs. As for the melody, "Kibou no Uta" is a lively and uplifting tune with a catchy chorus and energetic guitar riffs, perfectly capturing the spirit of the anime.
