"Cielito Lindo" is a popular Mexican folk song in the key of G major. The music and lyrics were written by Quirino Mendoza y Cortés in the late 19th century. The song gained worldwide recognition when it was performed by renowned Mexican actor and singer Pedro Infante in the 1945 movie "Escuela de Vagabundos."
