Ben

"Ben" is a song performed and composed by Michael Jackson in the original key of G major. Released in 1972, it served as the theme song for the movie of the same name, a sequel to the 1971 film "Willard." Written by Don Black and Walter Scharf, "Ben" became Jackson's first solo number one hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. Interestingly, "Ben" was originally intended for one of The Jackson 5's albums but was ultimately recorded as a solo track. The song showcases a melancholic yet powerful melody, featuring Jackson's signature high-pitched vocals and heartfelt lyrics.
