Kraid's Lair

"Kraid's Lair" is a song from the original Metroid game released for the NES in 1986. It is played in the key of D minor. The music was composed by Hirokazu Tanaka, a renowned video game composer. The song serves as the background music for the area of the game known as Kraid's Lair, where players encounter one of the boss enemies. Interestingly, Kraid's Lair is the only theme in the game composed solely by Tanaka himself. The melody is characterized by its haunting and mysterious tone, with a repetitive and rhythmic structure that adds to the atmospheric feel of the game.
