Love is Blue

"Love is Blue" by Marty Robbins is a song written in the key of C major. This captivating track was originally composed by André Popp, with French lyrics written by Pierre Cour. Initially titled "L'amour est bleu," it gained popularity when it represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest of 1967, where it finished in fourth place. Marty Robbins, an American country music singer, recorded an English version of the song in 1968, which became a hit in the United States and reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Interestingly, "Love is Blue" is mostly an instrumental piece, with the melody being carried by a melancholic lead guitar, accompanied by orchestral arrangements, creating a captivating and somber ambiance.
