Hallelujah

"Hallelujah" is a song originally written and composed by Leonard Cohen in the key of C major. It gained widespread recognition and popularity after the American musician and singer Jeff Buckley recorded his own rendition in 1994 for his album "Grace." Leonard Cohen originally released the song in 1984, although it went relatively unnoticed at the time. Jeff Buckley's hauntingly beautiful interpretation became his most well-known and beloved song. Interestingly, "Hallelujah" went on to be covered by numerous artists, leading to its further success and recognition. The melody of the song is characterized by its melancholic tone, starting with a gentle guitar picking pattern and gradually building up to soaring heights during the chorus.
