"You're a Tourist" by Death Cab For Cutie is a song written and performed by the American indie rock band. It was released as the lead single from their seventh studio album, "Codes and Keys," in 2011. The song is in the original key of D major. Ben Gibbard, the lead vocalist and guitarist of Death Cab For Cutie, composed the track. As for trivia, "You're a Tourist" marked the first time the band had premiered a song live on television, performing it on "The Late Show with David Letterman" before its official release.
