The Universal

"The Universal" is a song by the British band Blur, released on November 13, 1995. It is originally recorded in the key of A major. The track was written and composed by all members of the band: Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree. The song was featured as the second single from their fourth studio album, "The Great Escape." It reached number five on the UK Singles Chart. Interestingly, the lyrics of "The Universal" were initially named "Omaha" but were later changed. The melody of the song combines catchy pop elements with orchestral arrangements, featuring a prominent brass section that adds a bold and grandiose touch to the overall sound.
