Muder Song

The Murder Song by Aurora is originally in the key of D minor. It was released as a single in 2015 as part of Aurora's debut EP, "Running with the Wolves." The Norwegian singer-songwriter, Aurora Aksnes, wrote the song, and it was produced by Odd Martin Skålnes and Magnus Skylstad. The song gained popularity for its haunting and ethereal sound, blending melancholic lyrics with powerful vocals. In some live performances, Aurora has expressed that the song was inspired by her experience with death and her fascination with the concept. The melody is characterized by a haunting piano introduction, gradually building up with layers of instrumentation and Aurora's captivating vocals.
