Lullaby For Lucifer

"Lullaby For Lucifer" is a song by Brazilian power metal band Angra, performed in its original key of F# minor. The music was composed by Angra's founding member and guitarist, Rafael Bittencourt, and the lyrics were written by vocalist Andre Matos. The song was included in Angra's third studio album, "Fireworks," released in 1998. Interestingly, "Lullaby For Lucifer" is inspired by a poem written by famous Brazilian poet Olavo Bilac, titled "Estância de Luz" (The City of Light). The track features a powerful and melodic arrangement, showcasing the band's signature blend of heavy and symphonic elements, complete with intricate guitar solos and soaring vocals.

A vulture came begging me:

"Feed me with this piece of meat!"
