Travis
Travis is a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990. Consisting of Fran Healy (lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist), Andy Dunlop (lead guitarist, backing vocalist), Dougie Payne (bassist, backing vocalist), and Neil Primrose (drummer), the band gained popularity during the Britpop era in the late 1990s. Their breakthrough came with the release of their second album, "The Man Who" in 1999, which spawned hit singles like "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?" and "Writing to Reach You." Travis went on to receive critical acclaim and numerous accolades, including the BRIT Award for Best British Group in 2000. Known for their melodic sound and heartfelt lyrics, the band has remained active over the years, releasing successful albums like "The Invisible Band" (2001) and "The Boy with No Name" (2007). With a dedicated fan base, they continue to tour and create music, displaying their enduring presence in the music industry.
