The Pretenders

The Pretenders are a British-American rock band formed in 1978 by lead vocalist and songwriter Chrissie Hynde. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1980, achieved critical acclaim and success with hits like "Brass in Pocket." Known for their distinctive sound blending rock, punk, and pop, The Pretenders went on to release several successful albums, including "Pretenders II," "Learning to Crawl," and "Get Close."
