Pinegrove
Pinegrove is an American indie rock band formed in 2010, hailing from Montclair, New Jersey. Their unique sound can be described as a blend of emo, country, and folk influences, characterized by heartfelt lyrics and a distinctive twangy guitar tone. Pinegrove gained recognition with their 2016 breakout album "Cardinal," receiving praise for its intimate storytelling and introspective themes. However, the band faced a temporary hiatus in 2017 due to an allegation of sexual coercion against lead singer Evan Stephens Hall. Following a period of self-reflection and growth, Pinegrove made a comeback in 2018, releasing their highly anticipated album "Skylight." The band's willingness to address their past and learn from their mistakes has been commendable, and they continue to captivate audiences with their sincere and relatable music.
