Less Than Jake
Less Than Jake is an American ska-punk band that formed in 1992, hailing from Gainesville, Florida. Known for their energetic live performances and horn-driven sound, they emerged during the third wave of ska. The band's name was inspired by a roommate who was less than honest, and they quickly gained a loyal fan base with their catchy tunes and witty lyrics. Less Than Jake released their debut album, "Pezcore," in 1995, followed by several successful releases, such as "Losing Streak" in 1996 and "Hello Rockview" in 1998. They gained significant mainstream success with the release of their hit single "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" in 2000. With over 25 years of touring and recording, the band has remained active, continuously delivering high-energy concerts and releasing new music, including their latest full-length album, "Silver Linings," in 2021.
