Guns N' Roses
Guns N' Roses is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. Their debut album, "Appetite for Destruction," released in 1987, became the best-selling debut album in the United States, with chart-topping hits like "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Sweet Child o' Mine." Known for their rebellious image and hard-hitting sound, Guns N' Roses became one of the most acclaimed and successful bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s. However, internal conflicts and drug abuse took their toll on the group, resulting in lineup changes and periods of inactivity. The band released their double album, "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II," in 1991, both of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Guns N' Roses went through several personnel changes throughout the years, with Axl Rose being the only original member remaining. In 2016, Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined the band for the "Not in This Lifetime... Tour," marking a significant reunion for the iconic lineup. This tour became one of the highest-grossing concert tours in the history of music. Guns N' Roses continues to perform and create new music, blending elements of hard rock, heavy metal, and punk, leaving a lasting impact on the musical landscape.
