Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan is a celebrated Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the Miami Sound Machine, which popularized Latin-infused pop music during the 1980s. Born Gloria María Milagrosa Fajardo García on September 1, 1957, in Havana, Cuba, Estefan became a symbol of perseverance after a tragic bus accident in 1990 left her with a fractured spine. Despite the challenges, she made an incredible comeback, releasing numerous successful albums and hit singles, including "Conga," "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," and "Don't Wanna Lose You." Estefan has won three Grammy Awards and sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time.
