Badfinger

Badfinger was a British rock band formed in 1961, originally called The Iveys. They gained prominence in the early 1970s and became known for their melodic pop-rock sound. The band's first major success came when they were signed to The Beatles' record label, Apple Records, in 1968. Under Apple, they released hits like "Come and Get It," which was written and produced by Paul McCartney. Despite their initial success, the band faced financial and managerial troubles, leading to tension and ultimately the tragic suicides of two of their members, Pete Ham and Tom Evans, in 1975 and 1983 respectively. Despite these unfortunate events, Badfinger's music continues to be cherished by fans worldwide for its catchy melodies and memorable hooks.
