Amor Electro
Amor Electro is a Portuguese band formed in 2010 by members Marisa Liz, Tiago Pais Dias, Ricardo Vasconcelos, and Rui Rechena. With their unique sound blending pop, rock, and electronic music, they quickly rose to fame in the Portuguese music scene. Their biggest hit, "A Máquina (Acordou)", which translates to "The Machine (Awakened)", became an anthem for social change and was even performed at the Portuguese Parliament. The band's success continued with other popular songs like "Rosa Sangue" and "Cai o Carmo e a Trindade". One interesting fact about Amor Electro is that Marisa Liz, the lead singer, was a vocal coach in the Portuguese version of the TV show "The Voice". With their energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics, Amor Electro continues to captivate audiences and establish themselves as one of Portugal's most beloved bands.
